Here is a One-Percenter, taking off from her golden pedestal…that’s a little tipsy...on satin-y bird-wings in front of her bubble-gum-colored estate. She signs off to the faceless, formless “Ninety-Nine Percenters”...her “bitches”...that huddle below. Note the flowered Art Nuveau “frame” that holds the image of this lucky girl, and the rich Klimpt-like fabric that hangs on the right. On first glance, one may not notice the real barbed-wire that snakes along the right side and bottom, reminding us how the world’s great masses are restricted from her material wealth.
