This is one of a series of four scenes of female nudes in action: dancing, leaping, marching, and performing. The torso is classic female, but the hands and feet are exaggerated to emphasize her power...as the vividly-colored waves of music emanating from the Victrola wash over her body. Note the cosmic connection that surrounds her head as her dance becomes ecstatic.
